Tuesdays come round pretty quickly don't they? :) I have to be honest, I'm struggling a bit to drum up enthusiam to hook at the moment. I don't think I'm the only one (which is good to know) but I'm going to blame the weather this week.
It's been too hot and sticky to face anything other than a bit of this
Saying that I have focused on my shawl this week and have managed to complete another 5 rounds so at least I have managed something
More Tuesday Tallies can be found here. Hope my crochet mojo returns this week as I just keep adding lovely things to my make list and it would be nice to complete a few of them :)

I wish I could blame the weather for my crafty muddledness but I think it's just me!
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is very pretty....and there's nothing like a refreshing glass of Pimms in the warm summery weather! Enjoy your week :)

Ooh you are good, I've forgotton to do my Tuesday regular post for the past two weeks, hold on...I still have time today don't I?? Hahahaaa my mind is frazzled, pass the Pimms love :o) xxx
ReplyDeleteToo hot here in Holland. I am really ready for some cool days and rain. My garden is too. They have to come so you can wear your pretty shawl when it arrives. :-)

Your shawl inspired me to start my own one last week! ;-) Thanks for that! Here it was hot too but very often we had rain at the same day and because we moved in a new house we had no TV or anyone else so I could do some rows more. But finally it isn't important how much you can do, I think it's important to have fun! In this sense have a great time! Sabine from Germany.
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is looking lovely (and I love your paisley bedspread too). I have just had some holiday but haven't managed to achieve much at all - I was supposed to be catching up with craft projects but somehow it just didn't happen, so you're not on your own there. Oh well, perhaps this weekend...

The shawl is looking great and I am another finding this summer to be more difficult for crafting - for me it's the kids and being busy doing so many other things, holidays etc.
ReplyDeleteYour Pimms is making me feel suddenly very thirsty :)
Ooohhh my favourite summer tipple. I've not done very well on my squares for the last two weeks. Deb xx
ReplyDeleteNever drank Pimms before. I will have to try soon. It looks delicious with all the fruit. The shawl comes along fine!

I know what you mean, I haven´t done so much last week too. It is so hot that the yarn is sticking on my fingers, horrible. First time, that I´m hoping for some rain to cool down everything.
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is really beautiful!
Have a wonderful week! xxxBarbina
