The lovely sunshine we had towards the end of last week and over the weekend has well and truly gone. The hideous grey skies have returned! Are we ever going to get a summer?
At least the garden is enjoying all this rain!
I bought some more beautiful Sweet Williams at the weekend
They are bring a WoNdErFuL burst of colour to all this greyness
My one a day project of a cushion cover/possibly blanket is coming along nicely!
I have completed another 6 squares
So now up to 24 in total. Another two rows and the front of a cushion cover would be made, which is quite exciting :)
How are your WIPs coming along?

your Cushion cover looks awesome! what you going to back it with?
ReplyDeleteThank you Danielle! I can't decide between one big granny square or stripes or the same pattern or make it into a blanket, haha, can you tell I'm indecisive! :)

Same weather here as well...at least the weekend was dry for the most part. I do hope that the sunshine will make a longer stay though soon :)
ReplyDeleteLovely Sweet Williams..I do love the scent of them.
Your cushion cover is sure coming along, I really like the colours. I look forward to seeing the finished cushion :)

The rain is annoying but also great for the garden.
ReplyDeleteI love Sweet Williams, they are so so pretty.
Your squares are coming along great.
Dx
Victoria, I love the idea of doing stripes in the same colours for the back of your cushion..that would look lush :o) xx
ReplyDeleteLovely coloured yarn in the cushion. I love the sweet williams and your pots look great.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment on my last post, it means a lot to me...
PS. good luck with your cabinet project - wish I lived nearer!! XXXX
Grey skies here too - bah humbug!
ReplyDeleteNina x
Wet and grey here again too. As for WIPs ... lots of work to do, but no progress just about sums things up! M x
ReplyDeleteI'm getting really fed up with the weather ... though everything in the garden is looking very green! Your lovely pictures have cheered up a dull day ... have a lovely one, Claire xxx
ReplyDeleteI think it would be lovely as a cushion cover, then you could start a new One a Day project too!
ReplyDeleteOh where is summer/ love your crochet - I really can't seem to get it at all am sooo envious of all those who can x
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty colors in your garden! I love those blue pots and to have such a grouping of them makes a lovely statement. Thanks for your nice comment on my hydrangeas post. Would you believe a few have even turned pink! I wonder if the extreme heat has something to do with it.
ReplyDeleteI would back it with that pretty pink gingham!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
Hi!

That's going to be a beautiful cushion!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell done on your one a day project I have done nothing at all this week. Time just seems to have passed me by :(
Great cushion, going to look lovely when it is finished x
ReplyDeleteYour crochet is coming on a treat!
ReplyDeleteI heard the weather is going to improve at the end of the month,so we'll just have to be patient and wait until then, and maybe we'll have an Indian Summer? :0)
Just love your colours, they are so Spring like, which is a season I've really missed this year with our grotty weather. I really hope people are right about the weather improving at the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so neat and tidy, mine is like a jungle, and getting worse because of the wet weather, I love Sweet Williams too such pretty flowers. Your cover is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteCrochet looking lovely. I need to start some projects before I can have any in progress!
ReplyDeleteThose Sweet Williams are beautiful! I love all of your flowers, they're always gorgeous. And your progress on the cushion cover/blanket is so impressive! As for my WIPs, I just started spinning on my Ladybug spinning wheel, so there hasn't been a lot of progress on the knitting and crocheting lately. But I'm working on a blanket made of tiny crocheted flowers, 63 per row, and I have 6 rows done! Have a wonderful day!
