Hello Lovelies!
So, did you watch the Jubilee Concert last night? We did and it was a jolly good show! Prince Charles gave a wonderful, touching speech at the end and then the Jubilee beacon was lit and a fabulous firework display ensued!

The Queen attended St Paul's Cathedral this morning for a Thanksgiving Service and later they will head back to the balcony at Buckingham Palace for the end of the celebrations.
Rain was forecast for today so whilst it was still vaguely bright we decided to head out for a brief walk and to feed the ducks.
We headed to our usual spot.
With our patriotic loaf!
The skies were heavy with rain but we managed to stay dry! Thank goodness!
Delicate flowers and beautiful yellow waterlilies!
Daddy and Little Miss
Pretty bridge over the River Wey
The Swans had seen us coming!
sweet goslings |
Little Miss loves throwing the bread in!
Aren't daisies such happy flowers? And I couldn't resist more cow parsley! :) Think I may have a bit of an obsession :)
Old bridge by the weir
An odd gate to nowhere :)
Pretty iron railings by the river
Hope you enjoyed coming along, sorry for the photo overload :)
I'll finish up with a spot of baking! Marshmallow Brownies. They don't look overly pretty but the taste delicious, warm from the oven with some ice cream too :)
cream the butter and sugar |
add eggs, vanilla, flour and cocoa |
then enjoy! |
What have you been up to today?
