Too Many Ideas, Too Little Time

Do any of you ever feel like this?

At the moment my head is a sea of ideas and I really can't seem to find the time to fit them all in!  I start a project and then instantly I see another and I get this urge to need to start on that one, and so on........

Take for instance my very looooooong foundation chain.

I am currently working on my lovely rainbow hexagon blanket but whilst wandering through blogland I saw the very lovely Penelope's post where she had knitted the most gorgeous wrist warmers in clashing pink and red.

I knew instantly that I needed to make something pink and red but seeing as I can't knit I am crocheting a cowl/infinity scarf ( I do so LoVe scarves!!)

I also want to make some Christmas bunting,

Photo from planetpenny.co.uk

some cute shell pattern wrist warmers,

and some votive/jar covers - my list is endless!
(Don't even get me started on all the beautiful ideas on Pinterest I need to try!)

And then I went and won Daisy's fabulous giveaway (Thank you so much Daisy!)

So now I'm itching to find uses for all the GoRgEoUs flowers!

Help! :)

  1. I'm a 'craft butterfly'! Going from one thing to another! Too many beautiful things to explore, either that or I am very fickle! :)

  2. Your not alone darling, I try writing them down in endless lists, but as soon as I've written them down I come up with other ideas that I want to try. And I too tend to start a project, then get distracted by another one half way through... I have a few half finished project, that I need a day blitzing to get done. I have made a vow that I am not allowed to start any Christmas projects untill the others are finished xxx Wish me luck..lol

  3. I try to limit myself; that's why I'm not on pinterest, it's just too much! But still I have several unfinished items lying round the house..... I guess that almost all creative people are like that!
    Love, Mirjam.

  9. I am hopeless at even getting started, never mind finishing. I blame not having a craft room/area. the thought of getting everything out that I will need is enough to put me off altogether ;-( XX

  10. Oh Victoria....
the other day I was counting up all my half started - or half finished? which is it???? projects.
They are all spread around the house.

Then there's my various notebooks, spilling over with ideas....just like my brain.

I counted up to 12 and I'm still counting?

Thank you for including me in your lovely post, I'm glad you like your parcel.

I can't wait to see what you will do with them all.

    Bestest Wishes

  11. Lovely prize Victoria
    - enjoy!

I love the sound of red and pink together, madly clashing but beautiful too.

I'm hoping to start knitting (not crocheting wouldn't have a breeze how to start) but if you find any easy peasy completely foolproof knitting patterns for beginners on your travels through your favourite blogs
would you please point me in the direction of them,
I don't know what it is but my fingers
    are itching to knit!!!!

    Happy November

  13. Hi Victoria, if I had a pound for every time I've said that! With me it's 'so many quilts, so little time' and lately 'so many tunes, so little time'!

But how much better to be this much engaged with our interests than bored to death with a dull life! Lx

  17. The wrist warmers are so beautiful. And I know what you feel with so many ideas. I also have a constant lack of time. There are so many things to do. I have a notebook full of ideas to work out. I think we should live twice.

  18. Hi Victoria, yes that sounds very familiar! I too always want to be making ten zillion projects all at the same time, and no sooner start enthusiastically on one when I spot another beauty that I can't wait to start! So yes, I know exactly how you feel!
Loving all the projects here, the red and pink look gorgeous together and will make a lovely scarf.
The wristwarmers and bunting are very pretty, I hope you find time for them too, but with that super win from Daisy I think you'll be too busy!
