Oooh, there's a whole lotta hexagon love going on around here! Am LoViNg my current one a day project.
Managed a little hooky time on the sofa this weekend - I really must sort myself out a better bag to keep my current projects in :)
And sewed in all the ends on my first row (what a good girl, wonder how long I'll be able to keep that one up, eh?)
So I've managed 9 hexagons this week and a total of 23. It's going to be a fairly decent sized blanket. 21 hexagons in length (about 60") and 14 hexagons wide (40") perfect for snuggling under!
Make sure you visit Carole for more one a day projects!

Ah Victoria, the sewing in of the ends, always my downfall I must confess! Oooooh that is going to be such a snuggly snuggler, I use my 'granny-along' all the time, it is a firm favourite despite the garish colour scheme! Lx

Oh I can't wait to see it finished. I love all the combinations of colors you have chosen...very pretty! I wish I had the patience to sew in all those ends...that is why I stay away from making them....but I LOVE THEM...really love them! Shari
ReplyDeleteI am just in love with your hexies. This will be a nice size when done. Bring on the real snowflakes (instead of my crocheted ones...lol) so you can use it to keep you warm.
