A(nother) New Project

I've not really had much direction when it comes to crocheting.  I seem to start projects then abandon them, experiment with patterns and then never do anything with them.
Perusing your lovely blogs I've noticed that most of you have lovely home furnishings - cushions, blankets etc. that are crocheted or handmade in some way.  Whether it's lack of time or lack of motivation I just don't tend to finish things, a bit of a procrastinator one might say!

So whilst blog stalking my Jar of Love partner I discovered she had joined this fabulous project.  The One A Day project.  Now this is something achievable for me.  Just ONE granny square a day until you complete the project.  Perfect.  So my project is to make some crochet cushion covers in white, pink and green to go in the living room.

Here is my first square!  I think I'm going to join as I go because as appealing as a little stack of granny squares is, that is all they are likely to be with me :) so if I join as I go I won't have to worry!

On a different note, I had a lovely afternoon yesterday charity shop shopping whilst my fabulous Mummy sat in the car with the little ones, who took shifts in napping.  I did feel soooo bad that she'd sat in the car for such a while but she insisted she didn't mind.  Love you Mum!

So some of my finds are for my up coming venture that I will let you all in on at the end of next week.  But I also picked up some lovely tops for a couple of pound each.  Here is the first.

  6. Hello,
I'm coming over from Magie's blog, Teacups and Bunting. You have such a sweet blog, and many wonderful ideas on here. I was scrolling down and noticed Elvis Presley and smiled because I have always thought that my son looks like him. Me and my daughters started a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your posts are filled with simplicity. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
