It's the small things.........

Well it's Friday and another week has WoOsHeD by in the blink of an eye and sadly the weather hasn't really cheered up in these parts but we have managed to get out if only to walk to Toddler group and to the Post Office.

Craft and crochet have been a bit slow this week but I'm hoping to get some hooky time in over the Bank holiday so I will, maybe, have a little Ta-Dah of my baby blanket for you all........we are on the home straight now :)

I'm sorry that the pictures are a bit sparse at present but I am awaiting the arrival of this....
It really is awful being without a decent camera.  I never realised how much I used it.

So what with the weather not wanting to be all warm and sunny I have been enjoying the small things at home.

Beautiful lilac tulips, sitting happily on the new bookcase.  The French Grey really brings out their purplieness.

Also enjoying my new kettle!  The on/off switch snapped of our other one mid-week but I manage to tape it back until the new one came.  The thought of boiling pot after pot of water for teas and coffees and numerous baby bottles didn't bear thinking about :)

I found this fabulous bright pink kettle in the Littlewood catalogue whilst browsing through a copy at my mother-in-laws house.  It's made by Swan and hold a fair amount of water and has a nice quiet boil but it is a bit slow but hey-ho I just LoVe the colour!

What have you been enjoying this week?

Love your kettle,I bought a boring stainless steel one and now rather wished I'd chosen a coloured one after seeing yours. :0)
